Episode 13 sees us revisiting the excellent production and drumming wizardry of Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson.  We were brimming with leftovers for Episode #5 that we had to collect them all up, along with a few new discoveries, and repackage them for you good people here.  We're boasting excellent tracks with Pharrell Williams, Betty Wright, Al Green, D'Angelo, Nikka Costa, Larry Gold & Carol Riddick, Nigel Hall and Bobby Hutcherson.

Welcome to our alternative showcase of the body of work that was undeniably one of the biggest influences for practically every artist we've ever showcased in this series.  Our all-encompassing show features songs written by Stevie Wonder for other artists, other artists featuring Stevie Wonder, other artists covering Stevie Wonder, and other artists remixing Stevie Wonder. It's as all-encompassing as it gets!

We're revisiting Philadelphia's hot-bed of talent and unleashing some soulful gems from DJ Jazzy Jeff. His work as a producer, DJ and head of the neo-soul production stable A Touch of Jazz is so extensive and we're basking in its brilliance over 60 minutes.

#6 GetToKnow: Prince
We're tipping our hat to my favourite musician of all time and focusing on Prince's production/musicianship/writing/etc for other artists.  Hopefully you'll agree we've crammed a pretty decent line-up for your listening/downloading pleasure exploring his production, writing and guitar-playing for Stevie Wonder, The Time, Bria Valente, Tevin Campbell, Tamar Davis, Mayte, Maceo Parker, Andy Allo and Janelle Monae.

#5 GetToKnow: Questlove
Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson's production and drumming wizardry are under our proverbial spotlight and in an ideal world, Questlove would’ve been the first name I would have showcased due to the impact his music has had on me but he is one of the most intimidating names to showcase but I think I’ve done ok and should have a few gems to surprise you guys with!  Artists receiving the Questlove treatment include: D'Angelo, Jazzyfatnastees, Anthony Hamilton, Al Green, Robert Glasper, Booker T, John Legend and more...

#4 GetToKnow: James Poyser
James Poyser's production, songwriting and talent on the keys are all under our spotlight for this show, which has actually been the hardest one to put together due to the extensiveness of his work.  I'm confident we have a really good selection here including names like Al Green, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Nikka Costa, Musiq, Ronny Jordan, Erykah Badu, The RH Factor, Vikter Duplaix, Eric Benet and Daniel Merriweather.

#3 GetToKnow: Thomas Brenneck
As guitarist for The Dap-Kings, The Budos Band, Charles Bradley and Lee Fields, as well as having appeared on Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' album, Brenneck's writing, production and guitar-manship deserve several shows to his appropriately showcase his skill... here's one for now though.

#2 GetToKnow: Jack Splash
Since his days as the one-time frontman for the awesome futuristic funk group, Plantlife, Jack Splash went on to become one of the premier names in soul and R&B production - a distinction we celebrated with a collection of songs showcasing his work with Cee Lo, Solange Knowles, Mayer Hawthorne, Estelle, Anthony Hamilton, Prince and Raheem DeVaughn.

28th August 2013 - our very first 'get to know' podcast and Raphael Saadiq seemed as perfect a pick as possible to kick off this series... and we had a wealth of tracks to pick from.  Saadiq's songwriting, production and bass guitar prowess were showcased through collaborations with D'Angelo, Kenny Lattimore, Marcus Miller, Q-Tip, Total, Amp Fiddler, Ledisi, Bilal, Kelis and Jon B.
